My Views as a Dancer
I was born in the summer of 1986 in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, and grew up during the turbulent 1990s — a time of transition, instability, and redefinition. Entering a dance studio at the age of six became my first encounter with adaptation. That early experience shaped how I understand movement today: as communication, as listening, and as a shared language between people.

My dance journey
At twelve, I stepped onto the competitive dance floor. Before I turned eighteen, my partner and I were winning national competitions in the Youth and Under-18 categories, representing Fiesta Dancesport Club, Veliko Tarnovo.
In 2005, I moved to Sofia, where I became vice-champion and Bulgarian Cup winner, later joining the national dancesport team. In 2010, I was officially awarded for high dance achievements by the Bulgarian Dancesport Federation. This foundation was not an end, but a departure point. Beyond competition, I became interested in dance as storytelling, presence, and personal transformation — a space where technique serves expression, not the other way around.
From 2011 to 2021, I lived and worked in Vietnam. For six years, I was a professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars Vietnam, while actively working across television, live performance, advertising, and fashion. I choreographed concerts, participated in major TV formats, collaborated with leading artists, and explored how dance functions within visual culture.
Alongside this, I worked extensively as a model and performer in fashion campaigns and international fashion weeks.Seeking long-term structure alongside artistic freedom, I entered the corporate fitness world, becoming GroupX Country Event Manager at California Fitness & Yoga Center. Working within one of Southeast Asia’s largest fitness organizations, I developed programs, taught, and led large-scale events — deepening my understanding of movement efficiency, pedagogy, and the relationship between body and sustainability.

Since 2021, I have been part of the independent dance scene in Bulgaria, focusing on contemporary dance, physical theater, and immersive performance. I have created independent works (Paso Negro, Tyre’D), collaborated with leading choreographers, and performed across Europe. The performance Euphoria of Sickness was nominated for the IKAR Award in 2024. My research continues to examine how dancesport technique lives inside the body — no longer as form, but as embodied memory.
In 2025, I began intensive research into the Gaga movement philosophy, which led to the creation of my own practice and teaching method: Dans Dance. At its core is Dans Movement — a guided, physically active practice focused on organic efficiency, imagination, and presence. The class does not teach steps. It cultivates awareness, pleasure, and clarity by reconnecting the physical body with consciousness.
Today, my work exists at the intersection of experience, sensation, and inquiry. I see movement not as something to be perfected, but as something to be inhabited — fully, honestly, and in the present moment.
